TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Always great food! Always a great experience! I went in tonight and I was treated and attended very kindly by Isaac. He took my order and when I said I wanted two number 2s and I realized I messed up and I meant to say two number 1s he was very patient and kind even thought meant he needed to start over. I appreciated that. He was the only one running the counter so shout out to you Issac! He handled everything great! Attending to various folks at once. Food was great I order and it was ready fairly quickly!
Amazing. Spectacular. Well done. The fries were amazing, and the staff worked diligently to hand out my food. Isaac was kind enough to take my order and hand out my food outside. Would come again soon.

Food is fresh made to order, service was pleasant and prompt, the dining area was clean. This was my first time trying Dave's and it was delicious! I tried the hot spice level and for me it was perfect without being too much. Looking forward to returning to have more yummy chicken!
