TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Me and my family always come here to Dave's hot chicken after shopping for a while, and there's always nice service and employees.Alex always gives the best service to us and always has a smile on his face.And obviously the food here is the bomb, I would definitely recommend this spot.

This was my first time trying Dave's hot chicken! The food was great and so was the service thanks to Alejandro! He was very helpful and even gave us recommendations on the menu.

This location has more tables than the one on Miras Mesa blvd. Their chicken tenders are top notch. I tried their nuggets for the kid and it was very juicy and tender despite it being a small chunks which was surprisingly. I upgraded my fries to cheese fries because I'm sucker for cheese fries. I prob still prefer Shake Shack cheese fries over theirs. I still don't fully get the need of white bread slices with my chicken. I didn't order the slider so I'm content just eating chicken and fries. They need to work on controlling... read more

Daves is normally solid and 5 stars as usual, but tonight everything just seemed to be made with that extra love and was tasty af. First time I got their shakes as well and the chocolate shake was perfect. Thick but not too thick. Ty for the bomb dinner
