TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Food was super fresh. The rub is a little more on the sweeter side for my liking. The reaper was painfully hot, even for seasoned spicy food eaters, it was flavorless, just pain. Worth a try because of the hype but probably won’t be back. The sauce is also pretty sweet.
Finally got to try Dave's Hot Chicken and they did not disappoint. I got the "Hot" heat level for the chicken tenders and it was hot alright. The chicken tenders were huge, juicy, and generously seasoned with the hot sauce. I can't wait to try the other heat levels. 🔥
All them videos on TikTok made me want to try Dave's. Stopped by on our way through Omaha and it didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and the food was delicious and hot! Would highly recommend to anyone who loves chicken! FYI the tenders are HUGE!
I tried the Buffalo chicken slider. It was the size of half a palm, dry and heavily coated Cajun spice. They have no mayo, instead offer a sauce similar to Cane's sauce for the sandwich. I asked for the coleslaw on the side instead of on the sandwich. The coleslaw was not creamy it was a clear liquid vinegar based slaw. Coke products!! But one and done for me as food was only palatable not yummy or delicious. ; (
This was a new find for me. I’m back for my 2nd visit is as many days. The food is fantastic. The service is really good. They helped explain the heat levels. I settled with Hot. Just enough heat, but all the flavor.
