Customer service was great and so fast which I appreciated because I was nervous about there being to many people. I ordered the Dave's #3 which was a tender and a tender sandwich with coleslaw and a side of fries and of course a side of Dave's famous sauce and pickles. The Tenders are a nice size and seasoned well. I wished a drink came with it but we did get a milkshake which was SO GOOD. I heard about this place and wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. We waited outside in line and inside inline (only one register going) for about 15 minutes. For 13.99 you can get 2 tenders sliders and fries and pickles. I feel like that should include a drink. It also comes with a sauce similar to canes IMO. Food was pretty good. Definitely didn't exceed expectations, but certainly met them. It was very busy but the service was still solid. Very fast but my order was entered incorrectly, so I did not get exactly what I asked for.

Sooo happy Omaha has a Dave Hot Chicken! I got my food to go and it was delicious. The staff was hard working and friendly. The sweetness from the bun to the crunchiness of the chicken, everything was great. However, I will say for those of you waiting outside in line be aware of having a bucket of what I hope was water dumped on you...I was in line when all of a sudden the person next to me and I got soaked from someone throwing some water down on to us. We were very confused at what had just happened.

This review is based on two separate visits on two different days. Pictures attached were taken on opening night. We went opening day, wait was about an hour but once we got inside the time for food was not bad! I got the slider and tender option no kale slaw and pickles. Food was delicious, flavorful, and hot (I could go up one). The fries were great and crispy. The Dave's sauce was not my favorite which is why I was so glad the slider wasn't drenched it it! I want to say I really love the flavor and spice on the chicken and I will be back for that. Went grand opening day and stood out in the cold for an hour but the line moved quickly and the manager came out and chatted with folks which was cool. I give three stars because the fries I got and my friend had husband got tasted differently. Theirs had much more seasoning and mine just tasted like plain fries. Welcome to Omaha, Dave's Hot Chicken! It was a delight to get to try out this spot on it's official opening day. The line was wrapped around the building outside- but we were inside and food in hand within 35 minutes thanks to the great staff working! It was like a well oiled machine.
