With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I wish I had read reviews before wasting $13. The chicken is average with added spice levels. I wish the spice/heat blend had a balance. It's just how much chili powder do you want piled on the thick breading. This is a chicken place and the chicken inside is just ok. The sauce is bland and heavy on the mayo. Food is good service is awful slow lazy employees seem very unhappy to be working or having to work. This is at the Saddle Creek location.
this place is absolutely ridiculous. I would not waste your time. I would take Chick-fil-A over this place any day. I have sat in for a half an hour and have not even received my meal. It's double the price of Chick-fil-A and the food is not even that great. We were not apologize to for the wait or offered anything for the delay. This place is absolutely awful.
Good food, obnoxious wait when busy. Legit 45 mins for 2 pieces of chicken when busy. They will also process to go orders for people not in the restaurant ahead of customers dining in and actively waiting. At the end of the day, it's some greasy fried chicken that can be very good but the hype is 10,000% greater than the reality and to wait more than 15 mins for it? Ridiculous.
If you like waiting 30-45 mins for two pieces of chicken, this is your spot. Look no further
Honestly i have been to many locations and this by far is the worst. They don't answer the phone at strategic hours to avoid extra work and they dont understand what extra spice/seasoning means like bro if i ask for extra just do what i instructed? Its not hard i swear and i worked in a McDonalds it doesnt get worse than that but somehow these guys found a way. Chicken used to be very good when it first opened. Now, I can't go there anymore. I'm wondering if they changed chicken suppliers or something. The last three times, the chicken was just full of cartilage and just not good. I couldn't even finish it.
Well, I finally did it. I ordered Dave's hot chicken. First things first I ordered it through DoorDash. Didn't get my coleslaw. Didn't get my strawberry shake. They're already losing. I enjoy spicy food so I ordered hot. This was not hot. This was fit for heart patients, small children maybe, but not for someone like me who enjoys spicy food. I also got some macaroni and cheese, Kraft does it better. all in all this was a complete and utter disappointment. I don't see what the hype is.
