TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave's Hot Chicken lives up to its name – they're not kidding about the heat! I'm a fan of spicy food, and their "Hot" had enough kick to make my nose run, but it was still delicious. Love this place! Super clean and the staff is so professional and friendly. My husband and I split the two chicken sandwich meal with fries. He opted for the hot sandwich and I played it safe with the medium. He said it was delish and could feel the heat. Mine was perfectly in the middle. We ordered extra slaw on the sandwiches and added some honey. It was a delish mix a sweet and spicy! Highly recommend!
First time trying Dave's hot chicken so wanted to see what all the hype was about! Both me and my wife got the medium one slider one tender with french fry meal and a soda. Don't care for how with a meal a soda is not included I've never seen that but oh well. When the food came out mine must have been straight out of the fryer because my first bite of my chicken slider was so hot I burned the entire inside of my mouth. My bad!
