TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Cashier was very nice and helpful to my husband and I. The food was absolutely delicious we will return two thumbs up

My favorite place for lunch. The food is always fresh, the staff is cordial and quick, the restaurant is always packed but my order is never wrong!! Definitely recommend trying the chicken at least once, you won't be disappointed.

Well let me say this was a good experience. Food was better than I expected. The young individuals st the front desk and window had a good attitude. Very hospitable and well behaved. I'm sorry if I say it this way but I'll not sugarcoat it. I have a little age on me so i have a habit of looking at some things a bit different. our service was amazing the crew and especially our waitress Daquiesha was super helpful and had a amazing attitude. with it being our first time we will definitely be back!! Give that girl a raiseeeeee
Cute ambiance, friendly employees, and the slider I had was very tasty. But the price is high. $7 for a chicken tender is high, even by today's standards. Worst part for me was the wait. I went at 6pm on a Monday and there was no one in line. There was one other person in the dining room waiting for their order. It took 22 minutes exactly to get my food after I ordered. 22 minutes is a long time to wait for 'fast food' or even at a sit down restaurant. Again, food was good, but not sure price and wait time justify the taste.
I order two of the chicken sliders on medium heat, with fries & extra pickles. This combo did not disappoint. The medium heat was surprisingly not hot at all. This establishment wait time during what it seems like a peak hour was less than 15m for my takeout order. The sanitation score was 100 & the cleanliness of the area was well kept. Friendly customers service & the only thing I hope they update since they're located near University is discount offers to University staff and students. I will be back !
