TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The best friend chicken I've ever had! The Daves sauce is amazing!! They have 5 different flavors of spice. Lite mild to reaper. So it was my very first time here and I wish they had a little sampler sauce cause i had no idea which one to get. We went with the medium. It was perfect for the family ( I have a 7 year old who does not like spicey food and he enjoyed it) Next time I think ill try the hot. This is the third time in a year that I've had Dave's Hot Chicken. The first was last summer. I ate inside and think that I had a slider and a tender. It was good. The crowd was...a crowd. It was mid-day and packed, very loud and rowdy clientele...so for the second and third visits, we had delivery. The service here was very fast and friendly; when I got my order, the workers made sure that I had everything I needed including sauces and utensils. The food was hot and fresh; the chicken was crispy and juicy; and the fries were seasoned well and soft + fluffy on the inside. I chose the extra hot as the heat level for my slider, which was perfect for a delightful kick of spice that wasn't too overpowering!

We really enjoyed this place, we accidentally ordered the mild one thinking it would be a little spicy but it wasn't. Next time we will order the medium one. Fries were fresh and the coleslaw was amazing! The server was polite and friendly. We didn't have to wait for a table but it gets packed fast! Overall a good experience and we will for sure come back to try something else from their menu.

I came up here with a friend one night. I had never ate at Dave's Hot Chicken before. Busy but good food. We sat outside and I enjoyed my meal. The chicken can be really hot so stay with lite mild or mild unless you like it really spicy. They serve it with pickles and honey packets which made it for me! I love honey and pickles with my chicken. It's a nice quick stop for fast food if you're in the area.
