I've been to Dave's in 2 different states already so the bar was set. I can absolutely say the food was as delicious if not better and the hot level chicken was HOT, I love spicy food and I would get this again with a large drink on the side!! One thing I'll say about this place is you gotta know your spice limit prior to ordering! This place was our go to when we were in California . Now that it's in our back yard we will going more often. The food is delicious. Service is great. When ordering the sliders I really really recommend adding the cheese . Give it while another flavor you won't regret .

Line is a a little long and wraps but honestly it goes by pretty quick and even getting your food is not long at all. The service was amazing you can tell the staff was high energy outside and in kitchen. The chicken itself is well flavored and you can choose hotness (honestly not too hot for reference I hate hot Cheetos but could eat the mild wings). If you love chicken, especially chicken that seasoned to perfection, juicy for rash, you have to go to Dave's hot chicken. I have been waiting forever for them to bring one to Tucson and I am so glad that they did.. I would suggest ordering online unless you have a lot of time to wait. I was in the store for almost an hour and 45 minutes before I was able to get my order but it was well worth it. The chicken was pretty darn good. I like spicy and ordered the extra hot. I thought it was the right amount of heat. My friend ordered the medium and I think he got the reaper hot. You could see the powder on top of the chicken. ThIs was way too hot for him, which is why I only gave the 4 stars. Music was really loud but they turned it down after I asked them to. PS. We went the 2nd day after they opened and it wasn't as crowded but there was still a line. Considering the line, they were very efficient and we didnt wait too long. The restaurant and bathroom was clean as well. Staff was friendly and our order was correct. I ordered a slider and fries at mild eat and my fiancé did a slider and strip at the hot level.
