TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The tenders were juicy with medium heat just right and very flavorful with the slaw n pickles and I added more Dave's sauce. The fries were crispy and cooked perfectly and added cheese & Dave's sauce. Be sure to get there early as there was a long line down the side of the building but well worth it I'd give them an 11. Very clean inside and it blew away Canes in size of the tenders by double and worth every penny hopefully they open more spots in Tucson south area...
I am no Hot Chicken expert, but fell in love with it when KFC had theirs. Tried Daves on the night before their official opening. I wish I could have taken a picture for yall, but I was too busy plowing into the chicken. The Crunch and taste was quite satisfying. The food came with extra pickles and Daves sauce. Daves sauce was a little too honey mustard or Graze sauce or Frie sauce to me. Buns were toasted and not oversized. I ordered 2 sliders for myself, but these are not small.
