After leaving the gym, I was in search of something Hearty to put on my stomach and saw this place in the parking lot of Marshalls in Schererville, Indiana. It was pretty tasty, although I ordered my sliders too hot. I finally tried Dave's Hot Chicken, and overall, I was really impressed with the meal. The first thing that stood out was the portion size. First time customer, like that the menu wasn't overwhelming, would have eaten in BUT the music was TOO LOUD, I could barely hear what the cashier was saying about the menu. The service was just a tad slow being that the menu wasn't too broad. I ordered the mozzarella sticks with fries, an add on tender and a slushie. First time here. I went to the one in Crown Point with my friend because her family loves this place. She said that the chicken tenders were massive. They were HUGE and it wasn't just breading. The flavor of Dave's hot chicken is different than some of the other hot chicken places I've been to. It definitely had a chili powder overtone. I think I got medium spice. What a great experience and food! When we entered we were greeted promptly and the cashier ran us through the menu with recommendations. The food was cooked to order and came out fresh and hot. It was very tasty! The restaurant was clean and welcoming, albeit the music was a bit loud to have conversation at the table. But would highly recommend a visit and the food!
