Damn I know this is a chain but they do such an amazing and efficient job at their food. I got the #3 medium. I would say it's a small notch below a chic fill a spicy chicken sandwich. Slider was delicious, the kale slaw has enough vinegar to balance out the crispy chicken in the sandwich. Tender was also awesome. I think it was thigh meat which to me is a bonus point. Fries crispy even on a to go order. Haven't had a milkshake but they looked well made. Staff there was organized like a fine dining restaurant with or... read more

I tried this place today, it's grand opening day. The inside is very big, bright, and an entire vibe. It's inside an old theater so it gives a new and old feeling. There was a line when I got there, but it went by pretty fast. The service was great and they got my order right. I ordered Dave # 3, lite mild and it was really good. I also got their Mac and cheese, which wasn't my favorite. Their fries were delicious and Dave's sauce was good. For being it's first day officially open, I was shocked by the organization, the qual... read more

Checked this place out on opening day. My friend who lived in LA recommended this place as one of his favorites. It lived up to hype. It was very lively inside and are welcoming. Since its new the managers ask if you need help with menu. There are 4 combo options of combinations of chicken sandwiches and tenders. I got the one with two sandwiches and fries. Once you order they will ask if you want sauce and cheese on your sandwiches and fries. I got it on all of them. The. You wait to have your number called. Once your nu... read more

Amazing addition to the DC restaurant scene. Simple menu featuring fresh and delicious chicken slider sandwiches and tenders. Sliders delivered on tasty rolls with kale-slaw, pickles and the flavorful Dave's sauce. Creamy Mac 'n cheese, crispy fries (with spice and/or cheese) and mind-blowing shakes round out the offerings. The large chicken breasts are spiced-to-order, with a variety of "heat levels" from no spice, up to the "Reaper" spice. Reaper requires a signed waiver! You can't go wrong and with the hearty portion siz... read more

I just had a horrible interaction with the management at Daves Hot Chicken. We placed an order at the kiosk and and paid using Apple Cash. The kiosk said the order was pending, but it charged still charger ya. I spoke to Jermaine Johnson, the assistant manager who told me it wasn't his issue and that they couldn't do anything to resolve it. The other manager was slightly better, but couldn't resolve the transaction issue either. I will never support Dave Hot Chicken in DC. I have never had this issue at Dave's Hot Chicken in... read more

So I did not tip on a takeout order, the cashier was visibility angry after watching my fingers bypass the tip option. Got my food and it was so hot I could not eat it. Poor training and attitude, so because I don't tip on a takeout order you get to screw my food up and now I am out of 14 dollars, I swear I am not going back and I will not recommend, I really hope this place closes.
