So good! Got the 1 slider 1 tender boxes, the chicken was so crispy and juicy but the medium wasn't really that spicy at all - will go for hotter next time :)

I went to Dave's hot chicken with a couple of friends for lunch, and I must say "it slaps". I've heard of Dave's before and I've seen images online of all their chicken sandwiches but when I heard that they open up a new location in the DMV area, I was ecstatic. They have a pretty big location in Columbia Heights. Fried chicken quality was awesome and the menus pretty easy to follow. Have a new favorite chicken sandwich in town! I mean, look at that patty-to-bun ratio, people! The slider was juicy and I can handle a bit of spiciness, but the "hot" level is probably the max for me. I may try "medium" next time. Fries were pretty good, I tucked a few away before taking the photo. The vanilla milkshake reminded me of the McDonald's one. If you read my reviews from a month prior you'll see I discovered Dave's on a trip to Long Beach, CA. I fell in love, it was easily the best chicken sandwich I've ever had and yet, I had to say goodbye to it on the West Coast. Spicy. Flavorful. Filling. Fire. That's how I would describe Dave's Hot Chicken. It was my first time trying it, so I ordered 1 slider and 1 tender with fries. For spice level, I got hot, which was the 3rd or 4th highest spice level. My spice tolerance is decent, but this was definitely making me sweat especially after I ate the slider. The dry seasoning on the chicken makes it hard to finish, so I recommend getting extra sauce, which I unfortunately didn't do. One of the best if not the best chicken sandwich in the DMV area. From service inside, the food itself , it blows out any of that other chicken sandwich places in the area. I would never think honey is a match with chicken but it blew my tastes bud, we will be back please keep up the consistency as well.

Ammmaaaaaaazzzzing!! Got a Sliders Hot Box with a couple different heat levels. Sliders were moist, tender, and full of flavor. Amazing, amazing, ammmmmmmaaaaazzing!

Excellent sandwich, crispy fries, and friendly service! The sliders are really full sandwich sized and I was very happy with a slider and fries for lunch. I will definitely be coming back!

This was my first visit here and the customer service is top tier and the chicken sliders are top tier and I highly recommend this chicken sandwich over the dude that eats "the spinach out the can"
