TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Great service, Great food have wanted to check out Dave's for a year or so and definitely wasn't disappointed.
Came here because of instagram. Definitely expected better; chicken was bland, Mac and cheese was not good, fries were good.
Dave's hot chicken has the best customer service of all time. They are so nice and fun. I also left my headphones there and they found them there and held them for me. Would highly recommend the chicken. Sauce is incredible. Incredible store design as well. Love. Dave's. Hot. Chicken.
I went during dinner time and it was busy but not overwhelmingly packed. Very straightforward menu with spice level options. I got medium and it was truly medium (spicy enough for a real tingle but nothing crazy). Would come back! I ordered one of the meals (I think #3) and it was a good portion of food. Chicken was not dry, very juicy. Spice flavor was present but not overwhelming so I couldn't actually taste the chicken. It's LITT they FINALLY brought the best chicken spot to the DMV! Guys this Drake sponsored restaurant is only in very limited locations and is still fairly new company in general. The chicken is juicy, crispy, not super greasy, and taste fresh. The spice on the chicken is super flavorful. The food is delicious. Fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. The medium hot sliders is tasty and flavorful. My favorite is definitely the hot slider; not overpowering and is ideal when you want an elevation of hotness and flavor. Friendly staff and clean dining area. Wow this a a must try.
Good Food but are y'all doing delivery here cause I'm not a big fan of Columbia Heights.
Lives up to the hype! Dave's hot chicken has super friendly staff and delicious food. We came right when they opened and avoided a line. We got their slider extra hot and tenders hot. For sides we got fries and the Mac n cheese. Sides were great especially the Mac n cheese. The extra hot spice level wasn't as spicy as I anticipated, but the next level is their reaper which is the hottest level.
