Really great food! Would most definitely have again! We even brought some home and the next day after air frying it, was still delicious. Cool vibes, and the cashiers were nice and patient for first time customers. Thumbs up! This just maybe the new spot when we come back this way. This place is busy! I had the Hot slider and Medium chicken bits. Overall the chicken was amazing, flaky crust and seasoned well (almost too well). The main issue I had was a penalty preference of the execution. The slaw on the soft bread just made things soggy. The pickles were crisp but lacked acidity. The fries were good, just not my preferred cut. I would say Dave's is good but gets old quick due to some slight overly salty seasoning. The restaurant was clean and the staff had smiles all around

Great service and great food! So clean too! They are very helpful with suggestions for first timers. If you write a review you get a free drink or milkshake

Whenever I crave spicy fried chicken, Dave's is usually a top contender. Often times, places that offer spicy chicken sandwiches never make them hot enough, but Dave's hot chicken has spice levels that bring me joy. The chicken sandwiches are always flavorful and always bring the heat. The chicken in the chicken sandwiches are always fried to perfection, have a nice red color to it, and large enough to stick out of the bun. This was my first time trying Dave's Hot Chicken and it did not disappoint. A couple months prior to this I tried another chicken spot that everyone was raving about their sauce and bread roll. If you know, you know. I left there disappointed because everything was just average. So stepping in here my expectations was not super high. Fantastic. Best fast food fried chicken in the East Bay. I also love how hot some of their options are. I personally like the Extra Hot and one day I want to try the Reaper option. Order from their app for rewards and cheaper options as opposed to using delivery apps. The ONLY negative is that they actually did NOT give me cheese in the sandwich I paid extra for. Good Food. Safe. Lots of Parking. Eating area is a typical youngster type place - very basic. Not supposed to be a fancy place. If you want fancy better to take a takeout.

I was meeting a friend after work for a dinner date and scrolled Yelp for an inexpensive yummy spot and settled on Dave's Hot Chicken. The price in a previous review that showed the signage for their meals stated, the 2 sliders with fries was $14.49, upon arrival the updated price currently is $15.49. I'm addicted to Dave's Hot chicken. I usually get Medium or Hot spice level and feel it is slightly inconsistent. Sometimes the Hot is really hot and sometimes it's more like Medium. Overall though, so good! I like how the single slider comes with a piece of bread so you can make it like a simple sandwich and the pickles are always crunchy and taste somewhat fresh compared to other fast food.
