TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The atmosphere was vibrant service was fast and friendly busy but flow was good didn't wait long at all people were coming in and out with smiles and looks of satisfaction. So my children got the Dave's #2 extra hot and I got the Dave's not so chicken which was amazing it was hot but not over bearing but let me tell y'all the seasoning was on point and it was crispy perfect balance of crunch with a medium core nailed it. Enjoyed movie night with Dave's and the family
Worth the hype. Chicken was fresh made. The "hot" was hot by temp and spice level. Great flavor, not just heat. Not greasy. Fries were crispy and well seasoned as well. Clean restaurant who got the food out fast. Kale slaw just like I like it and make at home.
This place is awesome! The food was delicious! I chose medium heat for my chicken. The tenders and the slider are both delicious! I love coleslaw! You can smell the coleslaw as soon as you walk in the building, and it's a great smell! I tried the fries with and without seasoning personally, I prefer without seasoning. Great atmosphere, wonderful customer service, and very clean! I went there in October 2024.
Do not go here. Ts taste like sand and flour. Absolutely terrible chicken it looks good but taste like dirt I spit it out and the prices are crazy. Worst chicken I have had in my entire life ONG I wish I was joking. Ruined my 2025 and 2026
The chicken isn’t bad!! The hot is a little too hot for me so I typically go with the medium spice level!! Good fries. Love the addition of pickles!
