You really can't go wrong with fried chicken tenders, and Dave's was a fun new place to try since they expanded to Minnesota! We've gone a couple times now and the staff has seemed annoyed with everyone every time, but the food has been consistently good. It gets busy around dinner time and the wait can be longer. I know a lot of people get caught up in hype when a place is given so much advance media, but I really enjoyed Dave's Hot Chicken and happy to see more opening up around the Twin Cities area. This particular location seems a little smaller and I went at a fairly busy time, so it was a little long to wait in line and the parking lot was packed, but food came out quickly. I get the hype. First few times when it first opened it was full of people so my bf and I decided to wait for it to be less busy, which lasted a month before it slowed down. When we finally got to try it... it was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Got my bf licking his fingers and mine as well.

This is one of those have to try trendy spots. I will say it's not necessarily worth the hype but still worth a one off or if you're in the area and it's convenient to do so. The chicken has a very unique flavor on its own. It's definitely seasoned, maybe like a middle eastern flare there. The tenders are huge! Don't think I've ever seen some so big. Don't believe any negative review here. This place was outstanding. The food was fresh and hot! The lady taking our order was so kind and patient. This place really blew us away.

First off the bat, the parking lot is not good, too small and shared by several business in the strip mall. But I know that's not the restaurants fault, just a consideration. I got the #4 which is a slider and fries. My favorite part was the fries; crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a good amount of seasoning. I also liked the dipping sauce which tasted like a sriracha mayo. I was excited to try out Dave's Hot Chicken since it landed in Minnetonka and I recently got around to stopping by for dinner. We've made it a mission to find some of the best fried chicken and chicken sandwiches around the TC metro. The first thing I noticed was the pretty small menu - there are only 4 options of sandwiches/tenders to choose from. The place was packed and the food was great! Service was knowledgeable. Portions were perfect especially for the price. #2 Fed my bf and I for lunch. Thanks Dave's! We will be back!

It's so vibrant and colorful! I did an online order because it was so busy and they had my food out in 10 minutes! The food was so delicious, so flavorful and definitely seasoned perfectly. I recommend the slider's!
