TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Been waiting a while for this location to open when we moved from Los Angeles. Great service and great environment. The food has been well worth the wait. Love the urban style decor.

The first thing I noticed walking in was the cool decor of both graffiti and abstract art, followed up by the fast, friendly quick service from the employees Ana, Axel and Drew that they provided, allowed me to not have to wait in line for too long. Once I got the food itself, I can safely say I will be coming to this establishment much more often. The spices, texture and mix of different flavors truly does make for a captivating experience!

First time here!!! Cashier Alberto is super nice, patient and got my order right first with no confusion. The food here looks sooo delicious and it smells great too. I am excited to have my first bite since I've heard really great positive feedback from Monrovia locals!

I'd been planning on going back to the new Raising Cane's but then I noticed Dave's Hot Chicken had opened up in the spot the old Applebee's had been in. Way different vibe. Must've only recently opened because there were construction workers still working in and around the back entrance and I had to double check to see if the restaurant was actually open. Ordered the two chicken sliders with Mac n cheese and they were delish. Have always been a fan of Sesame Grill, which isn't too far away but this place makes for a nice alternative at similar price point.
