TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dylan was the worker who gave us our order! His attitude was very good and he even gave us a free sample for their new slushies ( which i recommend we got the blue powerade and fruit punch 10/10 ) we love dave's hot chicken and are always here the food is good!

Great food. Heat level was on point. Can't complain. I do wish you could call ahead and place your order. I'm noticing that many places aren't taking phone orders and I can't help but wonder if it's because their Gen Z workers don't know what a landline looks like !
Monrovia such a beautiful town. Had to stop by for some Daves's Hot Chicken. Ordered #3 mild spice for To Go just to check out this location and taste. No regrets, will definitely order other options when in town. Had the chocolate shake as well, made from real ice cream. It tasted alright, perhaps in the summer. The young people who served us on a Friday night were a pleasure to deal with, friendly and informative. Thank you, and we will order here from now on when craving hot delicious sliders and tenders.

The chicken slider was great! Got mild slider and medium tender, I will definitely try the hot one next time ! French fries seasoning is great.
Great and fast service. The bathrooms, tables and outside area's are clean. The cashier was polite. I enjoyed the music too! Fun please to eat! I'll be back!
I was surprised that they had Cauliflower bites. My sister and I are now obsessed. It's hard to find a place that makes good cauliflower bites and I tend to be lazy to make them at home so it's awesome that Dave's makes them now.
