TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

If you're ever in the area, visit this location! It's very big, very open, new and clean! Great for the whole family, friends, or just by yourself! The staff is friendly and the food was amazing! We came here 2 days in a row because we were staying near the area. My friend's slider was missing the slaw and the manager not only fixed the problem right away but actually even came over to say hello and thank us for our patronage. It was one of better fried chicken places I have been but not the best. Over all it was over fried for my taste. Toasted bread was not toasted it was soft as if was not toasted at all. The chicken was great minus over fried part. Spices were in the point. Music was ok minus echos inside the space. Interior was great but needs sound dampening panels the voices echo a lot. Easy fix. I got the the #4 combo with a sandwich and fries. For the slider I got the cauliflower slider with spicy level hot. It was pretty good but for my taste it wasn't spicy, I think I could up the spice level next time. The fries had a really yummy seasoning on it too and it was all fresh. The lady at the counter was really nice and helpful and the food was made quickly. The inside is pretty cute too, and they had music playing but not loud and overpowering. Pretty good!

The food was okay it was my first time and not all that how people/ friends made it seem so hype. Service, it was dead and still had to wait while two workers got done with there conversation. It was very clean but it also was very cold . Once was enough for me .
The best chicken you will ever taste good service and even better food. The workers are nice and good at their job. The environment is unique and comfortable to be in.

It's always as pleasant surprise when a place claims to be hot chicken and it actually delivers friggin hot chicken. Love it, miss it, need one closer to my house. STAT.
Started going to Dave's in their hay day while they were only located in Hollywood. Suffice to say it was some of the best hot chicken I've ever head. Sometimes food just has a sweet spot of time where it is just mind blowingly good. It may not be that anymore since they have expanded beyond what I ever expected , but it is nonetheless a good sandwich that who'll Hit the spot.
