TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Very good chicken. Relatively expensive but the portions are large and tasty. Not a fan of the slice of white bread provided but I guess that's their thing.
We love Daves! It's our first choice whenever we got out to eat! Food is always good and hot! The rewards program is pretty great too and doesn't take much to build your rewards for free food items. We have never had a complaint with Daves, my only suggestion would be MORE pickles!! haha!!
Awesome food and staff. I love the not chicken sliders made of cauliflower and the crispy fries.
The service is great! Staff were very friendly and it was clean inside. Food was okay, if you've had Hatti B's hot chicken...this isn't the same. But for fast food it is good.
This was my first time trying this place with my bestie and I was so super excited. I had the Dave's #4, which is the tender, juicy crispy chicken slider on a potato roll combo w/cheese and w/no spice (I don't like spicy food), crunchy hot crinkle cut fries, a nice pile of chilled pickles and their tasty Dave's sauce and a packet of honey. Service was good and the guy working the register kept the line moving pretty well. We ate in. First time there based off our son's recommendation after he and his friends visited. I thought the slider was awesome! The slaw and sauce is what made it awesome. The chicken is nice and juicy and a good thick cut of breast. The only thing I didn't highly approve of was the chicken is coated in what seemed like chili powder. The fries were really good and nice and hot. Definitely would go back again! I had ordered a chicken sandwich. I was just expecting something better. Service was ok. It was very busy that day. Ambiance- N/a. I ordered to take out. If I decide to go again I may try something different.
I ordered the 3 piece strips meal with FF and secret sauce ........The sauce was no secret I had it already at like 5 different chicken spots lol but the chicken was pretty good the fries were crispy hot and fresh !! Will I get back sure ....
I love Dave's hot chicken. We tried the bites this time along with our normal sandwiches and fries. I really enjoyed them. Better than the tenders. My only wish is that it came in more flavors than just no spice - medium - hot. Of course i will continue to visit this establishment!
