Pricey, IMO. A 2pc slider combo was 11.99. A drink was over $2. With tax a lunch for 1 person was almost $16. The chicken WAS tender, but I had no idea it was covered with dry seasoning, a bit off-putting. The fries were tasty even though they were barely warm. Would've been so much better if they were fresh, or hot. For that price, they could've at least been hot

Decided to give Dave's hot chicken another try on the whim since I was in the area and really glad I did. I ordered a number 1 which I believe included 2 strips, but when I got home I was pleasantly surprised to find an extra. The size of the strips were also much larger than my original experience. Decent chicken place with options for vegetarians also. Theres a Daves number 5 which is not on the menu but is an order of a tender and fries. Big hit with the family. Something for everyone. The Mac and cheese was what you expected out of a fast food place and the fries were good!

First things first....if you do not like dry rub spices...this is not for you. This was my first time having chicken with dry rub spice and it took a bit of adjustment. Second...the sizes...omg....don't believe the slider is a slider size. It is a full size sammich! Dave's special sauce is sooo good. I ended up using it on my fries as well. Very friendly people working there and place is nice and clean. Give it a try!

Not sure why this has a low rating - we had a pretty good experience here. Decent seating for a chain restaurant, relaxed environment, helpful service and some good chicken. We got the slider and tender combos which had one of each. I got the medium level spice which was a bit on the milder side (will do hot next time). They require a waiver for the Reaper spice level which i found rather amusing. Verbally confirmed on the phone that chicken is halal.

Chicken was tender. Fries were crispy. Unfortunately, your only options are roll/No roll. And how spicy? Tenders & fries. Limited menu. Meal was fine but for $27 I set myself up for more. Don't expect more.

Typical fast-food restaurant. Food was done pretty fast, not much of a wait time. Not much variety on the menu. They basically have one kind of chicken you can get plain or on a sandwich. You choose your desired "spice" level. It comes with fries and a small container of cole slaw. Chicken is covered with a thick layer of a very seasoned coating. This is my husband's and my first time visiting Dave's Hot Chicken. We are huge lovers of Nashville hot chicken and often frequent a location in Lancaster that I will not mention. So we were comparing one to the other. Would love to have seen a wet sauce as the dry rub was a little too intense and thick. Now, in saying that, you would think my husband and I were at two different restaurants. Really good and crispy chicken my fav is the hot, they have a few levels of heat but that's my sweet spot. Fries r crinkle and always fresh and crispy, staff Is very friendly and helpful. So overall it's a 4 for me
