TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

First time customer, and I waited 23 minutes for a carry out order of 3 chicken sandwiches and a few sides. They served many dine in customers that ordered after me as I stood there staring at the staff wondering if they forgot my order. I checked in, but "they were working on it". They staff was apologetic about the wait, but it just didn't seem justified based on customer volume and the decision to serve customers after me. The food is just ok. I love Dave's everything is so fresh and the chicken is juicy and hot. The crinkle cut fries are so delicious. Customer service was amazing everyone was so friendly. The ambiance is fun and vibrant when you walk in and the tunes were awesome while you waited for your order.
Took my family here because my kids were eager to try it. I tried the cauliflower hot sandwich and it was actually really good. My family enjoyed the chicken sliders. And of course it's great to know they're halal.

I have been here twice but not sure about a third time. The tenders are massive and cooked perfectly but I haven't found a sauce I like. Good service and you can be in and out

Pretty solid chicken spot. Been to a few different ones in the area but they generally offer the same items with similar prices. Service was friendly, especially from Jackie who took my order. Wait time wasn't too too long but also wasn't blazing fast. I ordered the hot spice level tenders and it was too much heat for me. The sauces they give you are a bit small so you have to go up and ask for more. Fries were hot and crispy and easy to much on to deal with the heat. Overall, another good chicken.

Their attendant was extremely polite so good customer service. They have a neat space and I decided to use their restroom. Extremely neat as well. I ordered their number 1 on the menu for my colleague as well. We loved it and definitely would come back. It wasn't too spicy or salty so good food as well

I had a good experience here, the food was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was a quiet environment, which I personally enjoy, and I got to enjoy my time with my friends. The fries are what I always enjoy the most but the chicken was very good and spice levels are accurate for sure!

GREAT SPOT. We were in the area and wanted to try someone different when the kids were asking to eat at another chicken place. We don't have a Dave's in our area, so we thought, why not. 10/10 recommended Service was fast and friendly, and food was hot, made to order.
