TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Parking lot right outside. The vibe is chill and the service was AMAZING! Honestly the sweetest and best customer service I've had in a while. The food was okay.The chicken is soft and juicy which was amazing but the outside layer is overly seasoned and over powering. The Mac and cheese was not very special and was not my personal favorite but I'm still glad I tried it. the fries are DELICIOUS and the sauce is really great as well.
Friday night and I'm tired after a long week of work and in the mood for something different for dinner. Checked Yelp for new and hot restaurants and saw that Dave's finally opened. In fact, today is opening day. Cool! Stopped by to find a good crowd waiting in line to order and get their food. The indoor seating was full and the outdoor seating was about half full. Opening day and the team is crushing it. Great, fast food and service. Plenty of seating. Even with the opening day crowd they were quick and efficient. Very friendly and greeting people at the door. We had the sliders, tenders, cheese fries and macaroni and cheese and it was all delicious.
Dave's is coming to Virginia WHOOP WHOOP! It's about time, especially since they are already in Maryland & DC. The restaurant will be on the northern corner of the Pike Plaza 7 strip mall in Tyson's Corner. Dave's describes themselves as a fast-casual restaurant serving Nashville hot chicken.
