TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave's Hot Chicken has some of the best food anywhere! There hot chicken is amazing, no matter what way you have it. Great on it's own, a sandwich, or a slider. Their "not chicken" cauliflower is also very good. Try the macaroni and cheese too. The menu here is not all that large, but each item on it is fantastic! The restaurant is clean and service is fast. Super funky vibe and great chicken/sandwiches. I ordered a slider with a tender and Mac and cheese for a side. The sandwich was absolutely amazing, Mac and cheese on the other hand I’d just say is decent, Definitely could put a bit more love or flavor of some sort into it. Staff was friendly food was made quick via online order. No complaints at all!
Even though they had a late start preparing, the manager was very nice and welcoming. The food was amazing well with the price of pur meals. The Dave sauce is 100% amazing with the seasoned French fries. I will also say some of the best fries I've ever had. My husband has been craving fried chicken and he couldn't find anything to satisfy his craving until we went here. We both highly recommend!!
Funky little chicken joint. Big portions served in a unique atmosphere. Price is not McDonald's, but neither is the quality. One of the best chicken dinners around.
I don't really care about fried chicken but holy cow this place is something else. Fresh fresh chicken that can be as spicy or not depending on your taste. It's so nice to finally have somewhere that when you order extra hot is actually nice and spicy. Every buddy that i have up i take to this place because hot damn. This place is easily one of my favorite spots i don't eat out often but I seem to find myself here once or twice every two weeks.
