TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Even though they had a late start preparing, the manager was very nice and welcoming. The food was amazing well with the price of pur meals. The Dave sauce is 100% amazing with the seasoned French fries. I will also say some of the best fries I've ever had. My husband has been craving fried chicken and he couldn't find anything to satisfy his craving until we went here. We both highly recommend!!
Tried this place for the third time, The first two times sucked, but that was also when they first opened. Third time actually got me hooked. The chicken tenders are pretty huge, and they’re filling. Never had a bad meal. Wait is a bit longer but always worth it. Chicken cooked to perfection, seasoning is just right and always leave satisfied. Nicki at the register hooked us up with a free milkshake.
I’m sadly disappointed in the cleanliness of the kitchen. I was first in line to order, waited 30-40 min to receive my food. And what do I find in the fried chicken a hair! I went to the front to ask for a refund since I lost my appetite I noticed that none of the cooks wore hair nets or beard nets which didn’t sit right with me. Was it good yes definitely was it something different yes definitely was it worth 70$ for 3 ppl probably not.... We came cause my kids saw it online but won't be returning probably. I tipped thinking they would bring it to table why they ask for tip but it was completely self serve . The atmosphere was great an lively the food is delicious but way to expensive.
