When Dave's first came into the area, it was packed every night. We tried it that first week and waited forever, and when we got it, it was good, but didn't feel worth the wait. However, now that it's not packed all hours of the day, my family and I have started going back regularly, and it has now become our go to chicken place in a crowded chicken market. Holy yummm! Will most definitely be back. The sandwich as a whole was delicious. The spicy mixed with the coleslaw. The staff were super friendly and patient. The property was very clean.
I've never had Dave's Hot Chicken until today, and now I have. The place was hopping, since it was early in the lunch rush. My meal was to-go, and it was ready and I was on my way quickly. The service of the folks in Mechanicsburg is definitely top notch. The food was about what I was expecting. It was alright, but nothing special.
