TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Our first experience at Dave’s was great!! Kevin was super nice and explained the menu and recommended some great options!! Wish they had a bigger inside seating space but we got a spot at the high top tables. Will be raving about this place!
I like the options of spicyness but my family don’t enjoy our meal, too much spicy powder. Chicken were a little dry. The staff not friendly. Needs more trash cans (and service to the trash) Little space to seat inside but plenty of space outside shaded by the restaurant itself. Windy days not for eat outside. Lots of trash flying away!
A new delicious chicken sandwich place worth trying. Variety level of spiciness to choose from, but I will say Chick-fil-A is still better. They did mess up on the carryout order once already and only way to correct the order was to drive all the way back.
Simply the best sandwich experience I've had. As a vegetarian I was skeptical of trying anything here until a friend put me on the Dave's NOT chicken. I'm glad I trusted them. Now, as the only one in El Paso it will be crowded 24/7. But for good reason. I'm not sure what's going on behind the scenes but it's producing the best sandwiches, sliders, and fries I've ever had. Food was absolutely great. Went in for the first time and was surprised at the portion size. A lot of chicken for a good price. And the spice was good too. Would definitely come back.
