TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I would've gave it 5 starts but it was way too hyped up for the flavors. I was q little disappointed that the chicken had no type of tangy taste it was just a dry rub chili powder type of seasoning. It tasted like bland chicken. Not the worst but not worth a second visit. There was an hour line as well.
The staff is very nice and welcoming. The place is clean, I wish it was bigger inside but the seating is nice outside. The food is so good I can't get enough.

3.5 stars is the more accurate rating. My first ever experience of Dave's and I was over the moon excited for this one. What I did like was a few things. The customer service was fine, the cashier was very sweet and polite. The place was covered in cool art that had the feel for Texas and El Paso. The ambience was youthful and summer vibes like. Food was great. Believe the spice levels as listed. I eat spicy food regularly and extra hot was right at the edge of being to much. I will order Hot next time.
