TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Came here on a Friday night and waited upwards of 45 minutes for our food and the store didn't even look busy! There seemed to be no sense of urgency with the staff. They had so many online orders the in-person customers suffer. Will not be coming back purely because no fast food is worth the wait.
Tired from work, wanted to get something good to make my day better, THEY TOOK a whole HOUR to make my food, no matter how good the food was at that point, which trust me that shi was mid, not worth it, would not recommend
Terrible service. Waited 30 minutes for my food. I received a buzzer to tell me when my food is ready, however I noticed my order has been ready for about 15 minutes before they actually buzzed me.
Great sandwiches, worst service of all time. They either need a new manager or to fire the staff and start over. It's hard to justify ever coming back. Worst service I've seen in years from anywhere.
The food is horrible. I hear people saying Dave's hot chicken is better than cane's. Absolutely not. The fries were decent but so salty. The chicken is very dry!!! it's a no for us. The service was good. Very friendly. And the decor was very nice and clean.
This place doesn't put their mac & cheese with the chicken like why don't they have that when I asked the guy for what I want and he told me we don't have that and on top of that why does the chicken look like me
Tried out this new location for the first time, and I just ordered fries. It took like 20 minutes just for my fries to come out, and they were sitting on the counter for a good 10 minutes before my pager buzzed. They were cold by the time I got them, and I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for them to remake them, so I just ate them. Kind of upsetting.
Took 60+ minutes to get my food. They were out of fries. This was a Sunday night 7pm. The food is fine but ridiculous wait time. This isn't the first time and it should be addressed.
Staff isn't trained yet it seems. Long wait for order when only a couple people ahead of me. Lots of employees standing around seem bummed out. Worst part is food came out cold. I have eaten at other Dave's before and it's good. This location just seems not ready for customers yet. Hope they improve. Not sure I'll come back To this spot
