dhc has some great chicken. usually, its 2 larger, long pieces. service was as any other place. the store was really well done and encapsulates the dhc design. but i do have to mention, your tenders will not have as much flavor because you cant handle spice since the milder flavors, which why would you get if its a place that specializes in especially hot chicken, have less seasoning and are usually for kids or uncultured people (try hot or higher) ! and dont leave one star reviews for something you didnt even try. ricky's i... read more

Delicious food, chicken it's very good nice friendly costumer service. The place is small so you can't eat inside but the food is good

Nashville native here. The chicken here is good quality, and the fries are great. The seasoning doesn't 100% taste like Nashville hot, but it's still solid. Service and cleanliness are also great!

Long time Dave's fan here. I was there the day this location opened. Aside from a few so-so experiences early on it's been pretty consistently good. That brings us to yesterday. Got our usual order, two sliders w/cheese which looked a little off. Took a bite and it was not juicy, did not taste like brined chicken, had no crisp to the skin. On closer inspection it looked far more like a tender than the filet we were accustomed to. I rarely leave bad reviews, but my visit to Dave's Hot Chicken was so bad, I had to. The drive-thru employee was unprofessional and made an inappropriate comment. Also, my food was overly moist, and the pickles ended up in the bag instead of the container. Not a good experience at all.

We were greeted nicely. But as we waited on our chicken . I noted the staff in the back around the food production area on their phones. Several had gloves on and were touching counters and their own clothing. This contaminated the food. The person assembling the food was not wearing gloves. Tables in the dining room were dirty. terrible for 2 in the afternoon.
