TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Food was delicious and received quickly. I also happened to forget my purse there and the nice cashier let the manager know that I might have left my handbag behind and they put it in the safe for me until I was able to retrieve it. Such amazing customer service and a bunch of honest and proactive workers.
8.31.24 - Nice new, clean, and great food. A bit costly ($60+ after taxes), but really delicious, moist chicken tenders, crispy seasoned crinkle fries are addictive. This has to be a once in a while treat. Honestly Carl's Jr/ Hardee's has the best tenders and fries and no where near as expensive as Dave's. we Ordered a box of ten tenders with a box of fries ... lasted my family two days. Julius. How do i even start? Julius is such a friendly, welcoming, young man! He helped walk me through my order and he was very patient with me and even though it was my first time ordering he kept calm. Such good vibes from no other than Julius!
Food was decent enough, nothing spectacular. Good serving size, staff was friendly. However HOERIBLY NOISY, we could barely hear the cashier. Seats were a little less than comfortable. All in all, I wouldn't make a special trip to eat there, more of an,"I'm hungry and just want some chicken"
The food is amazing, I love coming to Dave’s hot chicken. It’s one of the best fast food places I’ve ever been to. Please try their kale slaw it’s soo good!!
