Dave's Hot Chicken, an establishment that started in a parking lot in California, later to be a sit down restaurant. I've been seeing a lot of videos of people trying this place, and when I saw one recently open near me, I had to give it try! The Atmosphere: it's amazing! Finally a location in Sparks!! Placed an online order this afternoon to avoid the crazy crowds. Still a little bit of a wait. My estimated time for pick up was 10 minutes we waited closer to 30. Not too thrilled but we did consider that it was opening day and it was busy! Food was good! Seasoned fries are and have always been my favorite. We will be back when crowds die down. So glad food options in Reno/Sparks area is improving!

Honestly, Dave's Hot Chicken felt overrated. The food was just not appetizing. The heavy use of red dye made everything look artificial, and it honestly took away from the experience rather than adding to it. Flavor wise, nothing stood out enough to make me want to go back. I cannot say much about the service or ambiance since I ordered through DoorDash. The chicken was extremely greasy and overpriced. Two pieces of chicken with fries cost $15, no drink included, and ranch was an extra charge. Overall, not worth the price.

EXTREMELY expensive for "just ok" chicken.. it cost $73 for 2 adults/ 2 children... AND they charge an additional $1.50 for pre-packaged packs of Ranch?? Will NEVER come here again..
