The weight was a little unreasonable. Food was decent and OK. Given the price a lot of it was overly salty, but I honestly did enjoy it. I wish they had more sauces or at least their drinks didn't cost an arm and a a leg. It is spicy food so you'll definitely need something to wash it down.Is all I'm saying... I would recommend this place. Only if you do like spicy food because I feel like if I didn't, and I would have to get one of the less spicier flavors or just not spicy altogether, I probably wouldn't enjoy it.
This was my first time at Dave's Hot Chicken. There was a lot of hype about this restaurant so I decided to try it. It wasn't bad, but not my favorite. I tasted cayenne pepper in my chicken, which I'm not sure if that is the secret ingredient. I had the loaded fries. They were really good because they are drenched in nacho cheese. Came in last minute, and the staff was cool about it . Plus the cashier , Savvy , was welcoming and chill as hell lol !
The food tastes phenomenal and service is fast. Mesha is super helpful at the cashier, friendly and always trying to get you a good deal. The decor inside is very indie and special. My family and I visit this location weekly. Can't say enough nice things.
It's been a little over a month since Dave's opened at the location in Madison, AL that was previously a Smashburger that closed in 2022 . This location is not ideal next to the AT&T and Jersey Mike's subs in the far east corner of the Target Shopping Center across 72 from Clift Farms. It's hard to get into the the right parking lot with all of the traffic . All that aside we'd heard mostly positive feedback about the food at Dave's . absolutely amazing, I thought originally that it would be only one super spicy piece of chicken, but they have multiple spice levels. The flavor on the chicken alone will make me come back more than any other restaurant.

Sliders are big, I could only eat one. Service was a little slow, it took about 15 minutes to get our food even though it was only 2 or 3 people in restaurants. Nice clean restaurant. I had medium the first time , so I went for the hot this time , it wasn't too bad . Might try extra hot next time
