For Drake's birthday event, they were giving away a free chicken slider if you downloaded the app. I gotta say that the entire was fairly well organized. There was someone monitoring the line and had people waiting outside. It was also an easy event to do - just download their app and check out ur rewards coupon for it. Got to try Dave's Hot Chicken when they were giving out free sliders for Drake Day - I enjoyed mine! It would've been $6.99 for this slider, which is a bit steep, as it's no bigger than a Chick Fil A sized sandwich, maybe even a hair smaller. Despite how expensive it normally would've been, it was definitely very tasty! I got medium spice which was perfect - just the right amount of kick and it was seasoned all over. Food I like how simple their menu is. It's easy and straight to the point. I get the Dave's #3 so I could try a tender and a slider both in extra hot. It has good amount of heat. The tender is a decent size and has slaw, pickles, and sauce. The fries are well fried and go well with their sauce. So if you want a hot chicken spot, this would be a place to check out. It's not super fancy. As far as the menu being expensive, it's pretty basic. You get sliders or strips. I sent a shopping center so there's free parking. There's a lot of parking as well but sometimes it does get crowded. You order your food at the register and then they'll give you a device that lets you know when your food is ready. The last time I went it took at least 15 to 20 minutes to get my sliders. This was great fast casual joint. Very upbeat and has an outdoor patio. The food was better than expected so if you want something quick but not cliche fast food, this is the spot for you.
