I had to check it out given I love fried chicken and especially spicy fried chicken. Visited Sunday at 1:30 - I was encouraged given how busy it was. Ordered the chicken tenders with fries - HOT. The fries were very good (crispy). The chicken was cooked well and the serving was an ample size. It took nearly 20 minutes to be served but I was in no hurry. Food is great, service can be long at peak times. However the music is super loud and needs to be turned down. Brought this up multiple times with an acknowledgement from staff or some automated response yet nothing has changed. Hope they actually can address this in the near future as I do like sitting and eating here but am going to start thinking twice about that if the music is too loud to even hold a conversation with my friend sitting next to me. If anyone else is sensitive to that, think about dining in.

Dave's Hot Chicken is genuinely really good and lives up to the hype. The chicken is juicy and tender on the inside with a perfectly crispy coating, and the spice levels actually hit the way you expect them to--from mild flavor to serious heat. Dave's has the best Nashville hot chicken in Washington by far. The only place this thing suffers from is high traffic and honestly not getting enough sauce.
