Disneyland goes way back with me memorable moments fun times with my bff & family and over time you see the shift of course will happen, when your cast members are rude and short with you. Food can be nasty at some of the restaurants with an outrageous price add this pay this add this pay that .. it's become more obnoxious over time it's for the children if we let the children with of course parents only in Disneyland it would be better land .. Came back to Disneyland in 2026 after not visiting in a long time, and a lot has changed honestly, in some really good ways. One thing I noticed right away is that the lines actually felt shorter & the lightning pass to get in front of the line (that's nice), especially if you go early when the park opens. It's definitely worth getting there at rope drop because it's much less crowded. Late afternoon and evening are a different story though... that's when the crowds really start to build. On a cold rainy Tuesday, my partner and I headed into Disneyland. We were here to attend Sweethearts Nite on the last night of the season. We came right around 6 after hanging out in downtown Disney. We were then scanned in after a long but fast moving gate line and immediately given our wristband, lanyard and dove chocolates. I heard doing solo trips to Disneyland was a thing, so I tried it out for my birthday month and it wasn't too bad! Bought myself a ticket and a parking pass and drove over here on a Monday. Parking was easy and around 9am, the wait was manageable. I went to CA adventure first. I did try some of their lunar new year food items like the taro viet coffee, vegan kung pao bao, and strawberry green tea bread pudding. All items were mediocre. Lots to do here, lots of people. Be prepared to spend some cash and wait in line. Indiana Jones remains the best ride.

Expensive but nothing beats Disney Magic. Seeing it through the eyes of my son is like enjoying the park for the first time all over again. Parking is $40-60 If you stay at the hotel you do get free lighting lane that's not limited. I didn't know that until towards the end of our day. Can get busy. Early morning is the best and around dinner time. Everyone is either sleeping, napping or eating .
