Update: I just visited after not going for a long time and words cannot describe how bad it was. There was vomit on a telephone pole by Pirates of the Caribbean. Nearly EVERY PERSON touched that pole walking by, it was SO gross. They had no idea. I wish I took a picture.. It smelled so strong that you could smell it by the bridge walking over. Use to be a great place and affordable to take the family now you need to take out a second mortgage to take the family for a couple of days. It's a shame I think Walt would be disappointed on how the park has evolved. A better deal going to Knotts berry farm
If I could put zero stars I would. Disneyland is not cheap whatsoever so for most people they only ever get the chance to take there families once especially when you live out of state. So I finally get the chance to bring my disabled son to experience Disneyland. When I tell you it's not worth it I mean it. We couldn't pack the stroller so we thought let's go get a rental... I'm not really a local but I'm in Southern California. I was always so excited to come here as a kid. Even as an adult, going before covid I had an annual pass. But I have only been one time since then and that was enough. The magic is gone, it used to be that everybody was the same once you were inside. Now with lightning lane those that can pay for it are treated as more important guests and the rest of us look upon them getting on rides that we have to wait sometimes hours to ride. We tried to upgrade my husband's one day pass to a Magic Key while at Disneyland, but kept getting an error message, "Check your email." There was no email. I tried 5 times. I then called the next day and was denied the opportunity to upgrade as it was the day after. Are you kidding me?! The supervisor was going to call me back. She did not. Disneyland took my money and is ruining my vacation. I paid $606.00 online and got no tickets. The. Customer service said I can make reservations for the inconvenience but the lighting passes may sell out. My money is gone and no tickets at all. Scam!!!!! I will be reposting this everywhere. This is not ok. I called my bank and the money is gone.
A very frustrating and disappointing visit. The app for lightning lane is ridiculously complicated. That being said, we managed to book 7 rides using lightning pass during our 2 day visit. Five (yes 5) of the 7 rides broke down while we were on them! We had to be "rescued" after sitting on the disabled rides for nearly an hour each time. This review is long overdue!! I can't believe it took me this long to write a review for Disneyland, We have been here multiple times, and though the most recent visit was over 5 years or so ago! This used to be a lot more fun, but its super crowded and pricy so its becoming run of the mill, typical park like any other. I wonder how it will be 5 years from now
I love love love Disneyland SO MUCH! But I think you guys need to change your protocols regarding lost items! I went with a friend to California adventures, the day was amazing but she ended up leaving her phone on our very last ride at the end of the night. We talked to many staff members and even though I was able to see her location exactly at the ride they told us they couldn't do anything about it so go to lost & found.
