Stopped by Dave's Hot Chicken in Vacaville and honestly, it did not disappoint. The chicken was super crispy and juicy, and the flavor was on point. The spice levels are legit too--definitely has a kick if you want it. The sliders and tenders were both great, and the fries hit the spot. What really stood out though was the service. Fabulous service. The food was served hot and fresh very quickly. The overall customer service there is excellent. You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door with a smiling face. The manger in specific Cecilia, is amazing at her job. She really went above and beyond to make the stores overall atmosphere and ambiance feel friendly and welcoming.

I love Dave's. I think the chicken is good. Buns and slaw and all are good. I do come here a lot BUT ONLY off peak times. Friday through Sunday night don't even bother. Service takes forever. Food ends up cold. Especially if you're taking it to go. Lunch time on most days also a wait. Management really needs to invest in a faster more efficient way to process orders up front and back of the house.

Chicken and the breading had no flavor. Mac and cheese was good as well as the pickles. Drinks should be included in combo deal.
