Unfortunately we went to get my daughter’s dress I called ahead of time to ask if they took a cashiers check . They told me they did. I called twice to verify as we live a hour away . We get there and they have zero clue what to do with it . Then I find out the bail she picked out was not in the store which was never explained when we picked out the dress . I booked at 9am alternations appointment for today (Saturday 8/30) it is now 9:18am and the store isn’t open. There are 3 other brides here and we are just standing outside of the store. Each of us and our families have been calling the store but there is clearly no one inside to even answer the phone. A huge 0 stars on this experience!
Stopped in on a weekend, 4 staff at front podium and initially was greeted in a friendly manner and congratulated on engagement. Looked through the racks and found some dresses I was interested in. Went back to the front and asked if there was a chance I could try on a few of the dresses. The associate looked me up and down before responding with “No” and turning away. No offer to schedule an appointment, just outright dismissal.
I made an appointment with the alterations department at the Newark, DE location. I arrived exactly at my scheduled time which was shortly after the store opened and was told there was an hour wait for me to be seen. I asked what is the point of making an appointment and was informed that a later appointment showed up early so now I have to wait until they’re finished.
