Davis Window & Door did what they said they were going to do, they did it on time, and their product is fabulous. I would give them an A+ grade.
We’ve had them put in a sliding glass door, a front door, and all kinds of stuff. We have had work done over several years, and they're wonderful. They're in and out, and they do a good job. I like the doors, too. I would rate them as an A.
They had the technical capability to do the job correctly. Most of all, they were very knowledgeable about how to correctly install doors, especially in an older home with a little bit of a challenging scenario. I was referred to them by a friend, and they earned an A.
We have replaced probably 15 windows in this house, along with a couple of doors. Davis Window & Door has replaced all of them, and as others break down, they will replace those, too—they're the only people we call. When our garage doors went wrong, we called them, and they were amazing. They did ten windows and a door. I found the salespeople, installers, and everybody else to be very cooperative. They did exactly what we wanted them to do, and if we had a question, they immediately took care of it. We probably talked to five or six different companies, but their salesperson was good. We were pleased—A+.
When they install the windows, they have to use something to put between the frame and the window frame—the caulking. We just got the windows done in May, and they got dirty immediately because the substance is almost like sandpaper. All the dirt sticks to it, so I have these orange-like circles around my windows, which I wasn’t too excited about because they're expensive and brand new. I liked everything about them. They were pleasant, the quality of their work was good, and the windows are doing very well. They showed up on time, and they finished when they said they would. They put in eight new windows for us—they replaced windows. The biggest factor in our choosing them was price, but all of the other things were also factors. I'd give them an A- because it wasn’t perfect, and there were a couple of small nicks on the windowsills and things like that.
I am very glad I selected Davis Window & Door to replace all the windows in my home. Kurt was professional and thorough in presenting the Restorations line of windows. Steven and Jeff did a fantastic job of installing the windows. They arrived on time, were courteous, and cleaned up well when finished. Davis Window & Door far exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend them to others.
