Room was not the cleanest. Fridge in room freezes. Water is hot but water pressure was nonexistent. There was trash on floor when we checked in. Dust on every inch of the room that was visible. we have to clean our allergies were awful. They also did not disclose that using the parking garage is $17.50 a day to use so just because you use the key card you do get charged

The overall cleanliness was not up to par for a Doubletree hotel. It was not filthy, but it was not good. The stairs and elevators were not nice. My room was ok, but far below expectation for the brand. The staff was very courteous and efficient.

The parking is in a garage right next to the hotel and free, so that is a plus. There are pedways from the hotel to the Ford Center and there are plenty of restaurants/bars within easy walking distance. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The pool was very nice and the whole property was very well kept.

The breakfast at the restaurant was very good. The hotel was very convenient for an event we attended at the Ford Center.

Not very handicapped friendly, tore up my walker trying to get through door from parking garage doors VERY HEAVY no way to prop open . staff never offered to help with luggage no recliner of any sort just a very hard chair to sleep on as I can't ly flat on bed
