The asymmetry is very visible in motion. Static pictures don’t reflect the whole situation. My left side is drooping, alar rims are on different levels

My experience with this doctor has been nose but unpleasant. I explained my concerns about what I disliked about my nose and what I’d like changed. He was nothing but short with me, saying my nose looks fine overall and he wouldn’t do surgery on me. I was devastated and completely in shock. My nose has bothered me since the age 16 and all I’ve ever wanted was for my nose to be smaller and more feminine. I felt like he didn’t seem to care about my concerns or how I felt. He has taken on all of my friends and yet turned me awa... read more

It’s 2 days after surgery and Jesus am I swollen!!!! I look like an avatar. Imagine having the stuffiest nose you’ve ever had and not able to blow it. Now also imagine sneezing through your mouth. That’s been my whole day today. Can I just be put in a coma and taken out 2 weeks later?! LOL Definitely excited to see the results but at this point I think I’m more excited to be able to breath again.

Still so stuffed!!! Cast removal is tomorrow long it’s stitches and I honestly can’t wait!! Because once stitches and casts come off I can shower AND I can clean the inside of my nose with ocean spray so hoping that means I can start to breath!

Whew! I had a bit of a rough week, but overall it wasn't miserable - I was bracing myself for worse. Some notes about my first week, post-surgery. Day 3 and Day 4 were the worst. One of my eyes was completely swollen shut both of those days, but I could fully see out of my eye on Day 5. It concerned me slightly, just because nobody ever had posted a pic of them with an eye swollen shut! But I read that others had indeed experienced it, so I kept icing. I was super groggy both of those days and kept napping. I didn't want to ... read more

He did my nose 3 years ago, and ruined my life. I had heard he was cold and rushed through consultations but I saw him on TV shows so I thought he was legit. I went to my consult and of course, he seemed to want to just get it done with quickly. Said he could achieve what I wanted (straightening of deviated septum, shave down hump of nose, and reduce big nostrils.) I went in for surgery at 5AM and this mean russian lady was grouchy and rude when leading me to lay in the bed. I had some pics to show him again one last time th... read more

Sorry for the late post again—yesterday (Day 3) was the worst day of recovery by far, so I was hardly able to use my phone / laptop. I woke up with worsened bruising and more swollen eyes. As the day progresses, this eye swelling became even more pronounced, to the point where my left eye was nearly swollen shut on numerous occasions. I noticed that icing and sitting upright helped assuage the swelling. Whenever I took Norco yesterday, I took 1.5-2 pills instead of just one because of the pain. My temples still felt pressure... read more

I got my cast removed yesterday! I didn’t feel nervous at all going into it, I think because I didn’t have an ideal nose going into the procedure. I asked Dr. Grigoryants for a mostly straight profile, slightly upturned at the supratip break, and a sharp tip that’s slightly pointed. And he delivered! Not gonna lie, once he sent me a photo of my nose on the operating table, I was REALLY worried about what my nose would look like. I never uploaded that photo onto RealSelf because I really didn’t like it. But my actual nose loo... read more
