Hi everyone! I am so excited to be a part of this community. I have been through every single review of Dr Grigoryant's work and finally made the decision that he is the right fit for me. I am really impressed with his communication. When I emailed him he got right back with me with all the information I needed to go forward. I got my quote and now all I have to do is schedule my consultation and the surgery date. Unfortunately, I live all the way over in Michigan, so I won't be able to travel abroad to California until next... read more

I can’t breathe at all and it sucks so much considering I have really bad anxiety. Hoping this goes away sooner than later but so far I like what I see. I haven’t seen my nose without the tape though. Also I am still very swollen from my face!

Ok I know I just got my splint off two days ago but I’m starting to really get concerned about not being able to breathe AT ALL like there is no air going through my airways. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? Has anyone else experienced this? I am desperate for answers. I have not been able to sleep

Super uncomfortable days. Day 2 I felt pain and swelling and day 3 I felt a lot of drainage to the back of my throat. There are times where I get so sick of this thing in my nose I just wanna rip it off - but then I remind myself a few days of being uncomfortable are worth it. I couldn't get to sleep yesterday beause I was so sick of laying in the recliner watching TV. I decided to turn all the lights off and listen to podcasts through my headphones, it was a nice escape. That little change was really helpful. I also started... read more

I am so obsessed with my nose! I am still working on getting all the crusty stuff out of my nose. I would say I can breathe 70% out of my right nostril and 50% out of my left. I can't wait to blow my nose on Thursday so I can hopefully get the gunk out a breathe normally out of my nose again. Pictures attached have a b&w grain filter but no alteration to the shape of my face/nose. I loveeee it and can't believe it's gonna get ever better as swelling continues to go down.

My surgery is first thing tomorrow and I'm starting to stress a little because for the past 3 days I have had bad post nasal drip and a sore itchy throat. I hope am I well enough to have the operation. Trying to think positively - I have been wanting to get my nose done forever and Dr. G has made me extremely comfortable through the whole process thus far. Does anyone know if they'll operate on someone with post nasal and a sore throat?

Woo! The nurses, surgery assistant, and especially the anesthesiologist were SO kind and so reassuring. Morning of my surgery I had a cough, sore throat, and post nasal drip (no fever). They made me feel so comfortable. Dr G came in before the surgery for a quick chat and before I knew it I was off! Surgery was 1.5 hours - I had level 6 pain while recovering but as soon as I let the nurses know they took care of me right away. I was home by 11am. Spent all of the day on the recliner, watching TV. I did not want to be in pain... read more

I blew a huge booger out of my left nostril today and i can breathe again! It looks like a cockroach with three long sutures attached. I still feel stuffed up, but I’m happy that the sense of having a kidney bean stuck deep inside my nose is gone. A couple days ago I started having a rotten stench smell in my nose. Maybe it’s rotting sutures? I never saw the ENT. I did get my operative report and it was immpresingly extensive. My ear problems were coming from saline traveling to me ears. Two times this past month after using... read more

I love the anatomy of my nose, but i’m frustrated with the physiology. I tend to swell bad, so I am not surprised that my breathing is non functional. Mucus has cleared up after lightly blowing my nose. My nose feels very stiff like a cinderblock and the tip feels a little numb. I can see two sutures in my nose and two sutures from him narrowing my nostrils. the rims of my nostrils are red. When i talk it also sounds like i have a bad cold. Bruising is still there, but covered well with Nars concealer.
