This is a Bait and Switch company. I sent an intact Macbook Air with no issues except the SMC failed to reset, an easy job by the advisor's estimate. Two days after they got it, they called and told me some BS about how hard this would be and asked what files were critical I get back (All of them for 700-3900$.) The estimate went from 700-3900 to 3330-3510 after a 10% discount (but the engineer still needs to look at the device.) This company is what we call a "Dead Beat". Terrible company that switches up your device and gets it mixed up with others. Lost Data. Unreliable company
Total rip off. Make sure you shop around and explore all your options. Tried charging me $3100 to recover a hard drive. I got it done at a hole in the wall shop for $180.
RecommendedI turn to DriveSavers Data Recovery when nobody else could get anything done. Geek Squad at Best Buy was a total joke. I had 20 years of photography, music and personal documentation on my hard drive that crashed. I went to two other resources here in New Orleans and neither were able to get the job done. DriveSavers was recommended.
