RecommendedDrive Savers has been able to recover the data on damaged disks for us nearly every time we have had to send one out to them. There has only been one exception to that rule and that was because the drive was physically bent and they were unable to spin it up.
RecommendedDriveSavers is the best data recovery company in the industry. I would not send my drives to any other place, and you shouldn't either.

upon getting my drive back, after i paid over $1000, they only recovered half as much as a local computer company recovered and they wanted only $80 bucks and didnt even take as long either, very disappointing, way too expensive, over $1000 and all the photos of the kids still are gone
The customer service and delivery were perfect. However, upon getting my data back, they couldn't even recover a fraction of what I had and I still had to pay over $1K!! Very disappointing.

I had a hard drive that would not mount after I had been on vacation for a week which was my main Time Machine backup and also had hundreds of current images that I needed for jobs that I am working on now. After I wasted time getting recovery programs that didn’t work I called Drive Savers and they sent me a packing slip and I shipped it out. About a week later I received a hard drive back with my old hard drive. They recovered everything in the original folder structure. Thanks @drivesavers.
