Better than expected. I needed a portable scanner to use short-term while our home office was being remodeled. To be honest, I’m not a big fan of Brother products in general as I’ve had a few die prematurely. However, due to limited options I purchased this anyways. To be honest, it works much better than I expected. I am NOT using the related software but even still, it was very easy to set up and use. The fact it does duplex scanning is a boon.
