Almost a 5 star!! I like the speed and the easy setup. The only reason I didnt give this a 5 star is because it doesnt pick up thin or really thick paper sizes, only regular paper.
Great scanner/terrible software, but better software available online (see review) Great device and works great and only uses USB for communication and power. I just bought a second one for work. Easy to use. Only wish the software was a little more sophisticated. Open Source software is available that is MUCH better from SourceForge. NAPS2 (Not Another PDF Scanner 2). I love it and will scan BW, duplex, color, etc.

In the 1000 lbs of wrapping material there is this little scanner unit The unit is too heavy. The packaging is a night mare. The dozen or so templates and instructions are a nightmare. It cost too much for what it does or does not do.
Did the job! I like it! It's compact but works efficiently and produces great scans. Lite weight and portable so you can fit in a larger laptop case if using on the go. I'm sure you will find more technical reviews if that's what you want, but if you want an honest opinion of daily use this is it. Great Product!
Easy setup. Works very well. It's amazing, really I use the program DATAPORT in which you can scan book, recipes or whatever.
I was worried... I was worried this wouldn't work well with my MacBook air but boy was I surprised!!! It works amazingly!!! it is super easy to use too! I love that I can travel with it if needed because it is small and compact.
Decluttering! I got this to free the paper clutter of my life! The Konmari method by Marie Kondo really hit home so I got a scanner that can scan double sided pages into a digital platform to toss papers that are relatively important! It moves nicely and you can change the settings to do long receipts. Works up to 10" of width of paper. Do not expect this to be very fast as it is good for small jobs. But it does get the job done!!
I love this thing This scanner works perfectly for me in my business. It's extremely portable and the software, although a bit outdated and simple, works perfectly on my MacBook Air running OSX 10.10.3. It's fast and does a great job with both ID's/insurance cards and regular documents. It's definitely made the process of scanning much easier and convenient!
