Best purchase all year- Computer graphics teacher. I bought this for my students and it was the best purchase I made all year. It was very easy to set up with my computer, and creates flawless documents. I also love all of the options. I was able to make digital copies of our workbook in black and white, even though the actual paper is tan. It also lets you save it as pdf or jpeg. I love the fact that it's portable and never in the way. This is so incredibly handy!

Fantastic little scanner I was so happy with this scanner that I called my brother and he bought one too. We got together to begin the massive project of scanning our family photos. Our mother was good at writing on the back of the photos, so we definitely wanted a duplex scan and everything I had read suggested we wanted 600dpi or better. I bought mine first and I use Windows, I emailed him a pic at 600 dpi and it was about 12MB. He uses Ubuntu and scanned a pic to me at 600 dpi and it was just over 400kb!! works well for what it is it should be twice as long to fit larger stuff or rather they should make two portable sizes
