Does not work natively on Mac Unfortunately since this scanner does not support ICA/WIA, it does not work natively on Mac OS X. You have to use their own custom software for scanning, and honestly it's a crappy software ported from Windows to Mac, looks ugly and works ugly. Besides that, it works nice and has a good image quality and fast scan speed. I just hope they included this information on the page so that I wouldn't buy it and return it.
Great scanner! Fits my need to a T! I scan documents to my pc to reduce paper clutter. Used to use Neat till they started charging everyone.
So easy to use I ordered this scanner because I needed to scan several pages of double-sided information. This little machine made it so easy! Just feed the pages in and you get both sides copied with no hassle at all. Love it!
Nice but... Wife really likes this but, two things made it lose a star. Price was a tad higher than what it should be and the defaults of the software are complicated and hard to find scan in Windows 10. Yes, it auto scans and dumps to JPG. Wife wanted PDF. Opening program gave her that. Location didn't match either but, once you figure it out, it's nice enough. Duplex is a great plus. Remember, this scanner is for SINGLE PAGE (front and back if needed). No staples etc.. or you WILL damage it.
Best Portable Scanner This is a true gem for the money. It works great & even scans in color. The scans are picture perfect not blurry as some I have used. It is compact & even comes with a case. I do not carry mine from location to location, but because of its compact size, you absolutely could do it. It also scans several pages into one document which I love.
