Great Receipt Scanner This is a great scanner. It is quiet, portable, handles all sizes and lengths of flimsy receipt paper without the need for a sleeve. It can scan as a standalone unit without a computer providing duplex & mono or color scans in jpg or PDF formats. This scanner is awesome. It is can be used with USB or ... This scanner is awesome. It is can be used with USB or cordless (via SD card or wifi). Many resolution choices and double sided scanning definitely speeds up scanning processes. I am using it on both PC and Mac and the only reason its not a full 5 stars is that it doesn't appear to support non-Brother software in Mac mode. Great scanner for small jobs Great scanner for small jobs. Single feed only but with good timing you can get mulitiple pages thru in the same PDF file.
Scan to your heart's delight! Very convenient and easy to use. Some of the ancillary software was a bit harder to understand but the unit itself is well worth the price.
Works with Linux - completely OS-Independent This device has a built-in wifi access point. It scans to SD. It serves the documents on the SD via an embedded web server. Thus, it works with any web browser. Those of us who have Linux and some skill can do really sophisticated things with it, like connect to it and to a regular WiFi access point at the same time, and script automation to retrieve images from it automatically and process them as we like.
