Easy to haul I work on special art projects with a friend and since she doesn't have a scanner this will make our work so much easier. The box seemed tricky to open but once I found the clear tape tab on the left side it was easy. It opened on the short side which was unexpected. Came with a memory card 4G, a cable to connect to the computer for charging and a soft fabric pouch for carrying around. At first I thought I didn't get the pouch but it was packed with the battery. Portable No Nonsense Machine This machine is easy to use and set-up. It's compact, travel friendly design appeals to me. The item includes the scanner which measures about a foot long by a couple inces wide. The bottom is cushioned, and the unit is solid enough to take a drop. Easy Portability; Adequate Scans Provides adequate two-sided scans. Its best value is clearly its portability and ease of use away from the office. It most easily scans to a memory card (4GB included) that can then be manually transferred to a computer for uploading. Nice, compact, easy to use scanner I found this scanner very useful, easy to set up, easy to use. Once you get familiar with the interfacing, you quickly learn how to maneuver it. Set up was very easy. The scannings are all done in the SD card. You then plug the USB into your computer. Once you import your scans, they are very clear, including the color images. Oh Brother... I had an awful time getting my computer (running Windows 7 Home Premium) to recognize this portable duplex scanner. The documentation is terrible. You get a Quick Start guide and a lengthier manual on the disc, but neither gives you a thorough and well-integrated step-by-step walk-through of how to get the scanner up and running.
